Full Fibre to Public Sector Sites Connected Places
Our full fibre infrastructure build is delivered via the Public Sector Broadband Aggregation (PSBA), working with BT to drive full fibre broadband to 69 public sector sites.

Dark Fibre East Connected Places
Providing dedicated fibre to 34 key strategic sites in Llanelli, Swansea and Neath. Connecting health, local authorities and education with effectively limitless, scalable, secure connectivity for at least the next 25 years.

Gigabit Voucher Scheme Projects Rural
Our Local Authority Digital Champions are supporting a number of communities, as they work with a supplier to bring better connectivity to their community using the UK Government's Gigabit Voucher Scheme to partially fund the network build.
Swansea Bay City Region -
Digital Innovation Network Next Generation Wireless
240+ LoRaWAN gateways across the region which will enable the public sector and selected partners to trial the use of Internet of Things technology (IoT). This project was funded by the Welsh Government, WLGA and Digital Infrastructure Programme.

5G Innovation Fund Next Generation Wireless
Grant funding of up to £1.6 million to cover the capital costs associated with building 5G and advanced wireless networks. These networks will enable Swansea Bay City Deal projects and programmes and their partners to establish test beds which will deliver advanced solutions.

4G/5G: Public sector assets Next Generation Wireless
The use of public sector assets and land is becoming increasingly important for the rollout of advanced wireless networks, including neutral host networks, particularly where extra capacity is required for services in high demand areas.

The Shared Rural Network is bringing 4G mobile coverage to rural communities. A joint initiative by mobile network operators and UK Government, our Digital Infrastructure Relationship Managers have been working closely with all stakeholders.

The Swansea Bay City Deal’s Digital Infrastructure Programme is a formally constituted partnership between four local authorities - Neath Port Talbot, Swansea, Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire, two regional health boards - Hywel Dda University Health Board and Swansea Bay University Health Board and, two universities - University of Wales Trinity Saint David & Swansea University.
Digital infrastructure is a cross cutting theme through all of the Swansea Bay City Deal projects and programmes, it is essential to the delivery of our partner’s digital transformation strategies, the economic growth of our region and improving social inclusion.
We firmly believe that we can only achieve the aspirations of our programme by working collaboratively with industry, government, and our partners.Sharing both successes and challenges, using data to make decisions and being agile in our approach.
