Join us for an engaging and informative session on how fraudsters access personal data and use it to deliver increasingly sophisticated scams. Learn how criminals tailor their tactics to specific audiences, explore common fraud types including banking, online shopping, romance, and investment scams and discover the warning signs to watch for. Most importantly, gain practical advice to help protect yourself and others, along with take-home resources featuring guidance and key contacts for reporting concerns or getting support.

Age-Friendly Digital Banking: Staying Confident and Safe Online
Researchers from Swansea University, together with Swansea Council’s Community Cohesion team, will introduce practical ways older adults can feel more confident and safer when using digital banking and online financial services. The session will include a short interactive exercise to help people recognise common risks, check information, and think about simple steps for staying safe online.

AI for Everyday Life (Work and Personal)
A practical introduction to using AI tools like ChatGPT to save time and get things done. This session covers getting started, where it works well, and where to be cautious, with live examples and a chance for participants to try a few simple tasks themselves. -
12:00 - 12:45 Delta Wellbeing
Llesiant Delta Wellbeing is a Local Authority Trading Company owned by Carmarthenshire County Council, providing 24/7 monitoring, response and wellbeing services to help people live safely and independently at home.
Delta Direct uses simple and effective TEC solutions like lifelines, personal alarms and fall detectors along with an in-person response service and pro-active wellbeing calls to provide reassurance, early intervention and ongoing support, helping people to stay connected and confident in their own homes, and when out and about.
